We’re really sorry folks, but despite the exhaustive research, pouring over maps and cycling here, there and everywhere to compile Escape Routes, we’ve been alerted to a mistake in the book. Route 32 (Clifford Chambers to Hidcote Gardens) directs from Clifford Chambers to Atherstone-on-Stour via a bridleway. Unfortunately this is in fact a footpath, with no access for bikes. Matt is thinking up a suitable alternative in time for spring. Huge apologies.
